Dear Konzie Wonzie,

You are not made of puppy parts. You are made of refurbished microwave parts. That is the only explanation I have for why you are 800 degrees all the time, and you lay against me at night and make me sweat. You also stretch your long puppy legs out and give me the stiff arm at night. Sometimes you get my kidney and sometimes you get my eye. You will be sleeping in your crate pretty soon here. You also weigh about 30 pounds now. I’m too lazy to go figure out exactly what you weigh, but it’s alot.

Until today, you could not figure out how to get up on the bed by yourself and you would cry at the foot of the bed until one of us lifted your heavy behind up there for you. You really should consider growing a handle. That would make that process much easier. You also hate your crate and I have to carry you to get in that as well.

You are still very sweet and not very cuddly. I don’t get it. You love Roo and want to be around him as much as possible. He doesn’t feel quite so strongly about you but you don’t get that, so I guess it’s okay.

You love to ride in the truck and I’m very happy about that. You sit in the backseat and put your little face out of the window.

Until next month,

Mama Dog

  1. He feels as if he were 800 degrees cuz you’re internal core temperature has just risen by several degrees. ;)

  2. To get him in the crate try putting something really, really good in the back of the crate so that when he walks in there to get it you can close the door on him. It has to be something very good that he only gets at this time. Don’t use something that you give other places b/c he will remember that you will give it to him later. If he thinks this is his only chance for this special treat he will go for it. For Cassidy I used peanut butter. I would smear her treat with it and throw it to the back of the crate. She was only allowed peanut butter in her crate. It got to the point that all I had to do was take the jar out and she would run to the crate, get in, and wait for me. Try to find what his weakness is.

  3. If you would like, I could come over and sleep in his crate with him for a few days, ya know, just to get him acclimated. MMMMMM puppy.
