Mommy and Baby

Filed under: Uncategorized — Dawn @ 11:35 pm

Miss Dawn Elaine and Mr. Gage Marcus are both doing well. I was only able to wave to them on Monday, but I did get to spend a bit of time with them yesterday. My fabulous friend was donning some cute, new jammies and was positively glowing. You should see the way she looks at him. And that baby has the most perfectly round little face. And Elvee, the guy that looks like he could crush a car with his bare hands, so very gently holds Gage against his big chest.

They are all very tired and getting restless in the hospital. They should get to come home tomorrow. For tonight, I wish them sweet dreams. Love y’all. T

Welcome Baby Gage

My best pal, Dawn Elaine, had her beautiful baby boy this evening. I don’t have many details, but I’m sure there will be lots more to come. She had a c-section around 6ish. I believe he weighs 7.14 pounds and is 21 inches long. I only saw them for a second, but I hear they’re both doing well. Night. T

Every Time

Filed under: Uncategorized — Dawn @ 2:33 am

Everytime I turn around, that dog is fucking standing two inches from me. He shadows me all day long. I scream for him to move out of my way at least a dozen times a day. If I stop too fast, he runs into the back of me. If I stop and he doesn’t manage to run into me, then he stops also and licks me. I HATE IT. How do people have kids and still love their animals? I know that none of the issues I have with him are really all his fault but God damn, he is one SLLLLOOOWWW learner.

The Secret

Filed under: Uncategorized — Dawn @ 2:13 am

I’m not going to go all into preachy mode on you guys with this but those of you that know about The Secret will know what I am talking about. Anyway, I want to make a list of life goals and see them all through. I’ve got to start being forward thinking. I’ve spent too much time in the past. Here goes. I’d love to hear yours if you want to share.

1. Find financial freedom.
2. Own a home.
3. Lose weight once and for all and be healthy.
4. Be a great mom.
5. Truly love who I am.
6. Find my life passion and work toward a career doing that thing. (It will, no doubt, be something creative.)
7. Take up photography.
8. Meet Oprah.
9. Go on The Price is Right.
10. Take a vacation to a really nice place, preferably out of the country.
